Skovånd is a multi-disciplinary, locally-owned design studio. We address trend forecast, color-material-finish (CMF) strategy, space design and branding.

Skovånd's design process is radial, not linear. We apply pressure from the periphery of an insight or trend and draw inward, toward a central idea.

Our clients seek to understand trends and clarify insight to spark emotional connection in their products and places.

Our Danish name translates as “forest spirit” and our designs emphasize human’s implicit connection to nature and the rhythms in seasonality.

With more than 20 years experience, Jensie has designed for IKEA, Nike and Better Homes and Gardens. Her projekts received accolades from Sustainable Brands, FastCompany and Vanity Fair. She’s formally trained in both design and business, but will be the first to tell you her best education came from her entrepreneurial family, a 5,000 foot hike into and out of the Grand Canyon and falling again and again in the snow.

To be more here we must increase our awareness of who was before us.

We acknowledge we are on the unceded territories of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, Grand Ronde and Klamath Nations. We thank them for their stewardship of this land and strive to work in partnership as we create belonging for all.
